How do you handle the first week back after break?

Every year, coming back from break is the hardest week of the year for me. The students have forgotten everything. The routine has reset. And I'm operating at 60% after two weeks of not being a teacher. This year I'm trying something new: I'm not starting with new content the first week back. Three days of structured review, one day of goal-setting with students, one day of a WiseUp game on what they should still know. Has anyone done a full re-entry week like this?
