Hi! Rachel here, 8th grade math in Chicago Public Schools, 6 years in. Just finished my first full year using WiseBoard. End of year reflection: the bell ringer system changed my first 8 minutes of class more than I expected. I used to lose 3-4 minutes every period to transition chaos. Hi Rachel! 5th grade math here (sort of, it is all subjects but math takes the most energy). The bell ringer habit you described is what I am trying to build this fall. Good to know it clicks into place by October.
